A first-to-100 match becomes easier when divided into stages with a default 15-point banking target.
Start with 15 points
Below 10 points, normally roll. From 10 to 14, check the scoreboard. At 15 or more, normally bank.
Opening stage
Aim to reach 30 through two productive turns rather than one spectacular risk.
Use the lead
Bank earlier when ahead, stay near the target when level and consider a longer turn when far behind.
Calculate the exact finish
At 87 banked points, the current target is 13. Bank as soon as the turn reaches the amount needed for 100.
Another roll adds risk without strategic value.
